Jimi Hocking, a Mount Martha local is looking forward to the second blues session because the crowd is there to appreciate the blues music,

Peninsula Hot Springs Mornington Peninsula

The award winning Peninsula Hot Springs will celebrate its 10th birthday this month.

Peninsula Hot Springs is located on the Mornington Peninsula, only a 90 minute drive from Melbourne.

Brothers Charles and Richard Davidson developed their vision for Peninsula Hot Springs in 1997 when they bought the 42 acre site.

Several more years of hard work followed including:

  • designing the Peninsula Hot Springs,
  • securing the water licence,
  • obtaining planning permits, and
  • drilling a bore over 600 metres underground to an aquifer with 54 degree celsius natural hot mineral waters.

After the Davidson brothers found an investor, Norm Cleland and his family, they started to construct the Stage One Spa Dreaming Centre facility – this opened in June 2005.

Peninsula Hot Springs is surrounded by a coastal oasis with 360 degree views. It offers over 20 experiences including:

  • a cave pool,
  • Turkish steam baths,
  • saunas,
  • cold plunge pools, and
  • a family bathing area.

If you’re going to visit Peninsula Hot Springs at peak times (Friday to Monday and holiday periods) we suggest you pre-book your bathing experience. Head here to get details and book in.
